What will I learn?

In this online workshop, I’ll be taking you through the entire lettering process via video lessons and an eBook called The Art of Lettering. You’ll learn the basics of typography and lettering and we’ll also talk about how to brainstorm a concept, sketch ideas, and create a custom final piece!

Then, we’ll apply those skills to create two pieces of hand-lettered art, because when you physically do things yourself..that’s when you really learn the art of lettering!

During the videos, I’ll teach you about the supplies, how to use them, and tell you which ones work best for lettering (which I’ve learned through a lot of trial and error).

What does the class include?

Class videos. We’ll be creating two start to finish projects via video lessons! There are bonus video “mini” lessons on: brush calligraphy basics, flourishing, and digitising your work.
