Right now I’m sitting on a beach in Mexico, watching the sun slip down in the western sky and enjoying the warm sea breeze. It’s one of my favorite places on the planet, and because of the flexibility and freedom I have as a profitable trader, I get to come here often. A little relaxation, recreation, rejuvenation… all good for the body, the spirit, and for my trading too.
Yes… every now and then you need to kick back, take a deep breath, and look at“The Big Picture.” That’s how I trade. It’s simple. Uncomplicated. And that’s what’s missing from most traders’ stockpiles of tactics, techniques, and “tricks.” The ‘simple’ and ‘uncomplicated’ are nowhere to be found.
I won’t list all that you will find: the fancy schmancy indicators and oscillators and regurgitators, as well as the analyze-this and analyze-that nonsense that fogs the brain and steams the windows. While they may serve their purpose in some circles, for the trader who’s looking to make a profit, there’s a better way. A simpler way.
