I purchasedPinteresting Strategiesby Carly Campbell because I was frustrated with the Pinterest game. Many of you may feel the same way.
I had read what seems like 1 million blog posts about Pinterest and how to use it to increase your blog traffic. There are SOOOO many blogs out there and they all seem to be saying different things about how to be successful with Pinterest.Often times they just felt sales pitchy.
How I found out aboutPinteresting Strategies by Carly Campbell
One of the strategies that I had read about in one of the courses that I had bought (NOT Pinteresting Strategies) was to join and many group boards as possible to help get your content in front of lots of people…(definitely not the best strategy).
But I was new to the Pinterest game and that was my quest.Because everything that you read in courses must be true and up to date…right?
It was in this quest of finding a million group boards to join that I sent a request to a group board owner. They kindly responded and told me no.
At first, I was bummed out, but then she gave me some advice about focusing my efforts on my own boards and she suggested that I take a look into Pinteresting Strategies by Carly Campbell.
Did I just receive a reference that had no strings attached or affiliate link behind the text?
The fact that someone would justsuggest something because it was good got me interested.
I was then off to do some more research.Every review that I had read had so many great things to say about her e-book that I decided to give it a read.
There are so many courses out there on using Pinterest to grow your business.I have personally bought a couple. But the true question is…which course should I get?Or, is it even worth it to get a course? With so many courses out there, these are probably good questions to be asking.
I hope that this honest review will help you in making the decision of whether or not Pinteresting Strategies by Carly Campbell is right for you.
About Carly
Carly is a mom just like most of you.She started a blog back in 2016 that now makes 6 figures and drives over 200K+ page views per month.Something that all of us are most likely striving for.We want to take control of our life and our finances.Or as Carly puts it,
“I wanted to be a mommy on purpose, not a mommy of circumstance, or a mommy just getting by.Or even a mommy doing mostly ok.I want to be intentional about motherhood.”
Through her blogging journey, she was very analytical about Pinterest and her blog…and still is, you can see that in her course.Carly was able to put together an awesome step by step course on how she did it.While I found most of the content very relatable to me partly because I am in the motherhood niche, I also think that it isvery pertinent to any blog niche. If you’re new to the blogging game Carly also has aFREE courseon starting a blog!It is totally worth it to see if blogging could be something for you.
Pinteresting StrategiesOverview
Carly Campbell’sPinteresting Strategiescovers quite a bit of content. And to be honest it isusefulcontent, not just the fluff that you read everywhere else.It actually was an ebook to begin with, but she then converted it over to a course format so that she could keep itup to date. Which is so awesome becausePinterest is always changing. See below for what she covers:
Traffic and its importance to your blog
Setting up your Pinterest profile for success
Understanding people and how Pinterest is all about people
Pinterest SEO
Group Boards
Carly’s pinning strategy (mostly manual pinning) – this is what I foundmost helpful!
Carly is right on point when she talks about what really matters with Pinterest.Often times we get caught up on impressions and saves. And those do matter to a certain extent. But,what really matters is driving traffic to your blog.
You can get all the saves and impressions in the world but if no one clicks over to your blog then it doesn’t really matter. No clicks to your website means no money from ads, no affiliate sales, no email opt-in sign-ups, and ultimately a lack of success.Unless that’s what you’re going for…
Much of her strategy ismanual pinning. This is how she gets so many page views. It may be a bit overwhelming to begin with but it will soon become easier and easier.
Internet Marketing Course
Digital marketing is the component of marketing that utilizes internet and online based digital technologies such as desktop computers,
mobile phones and other digital media and platforms to promote products and services. Its development during the 1990s and 2000s,
changed the way brands and businesses use technology for marketing. As digital platforms became increasingly incorporated into marketing plans and everyday life,
and as people increasingly use digital devices instead of visiting physical shops, digital marketing campaigns have become prevalent,
employing combinations of search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), content marketing, influencer marketing, content automation,
campaign marketing, data-driven marketing, e-commerce marketing, social media marketing, social media optimization, e-mail direct marketing, display advertising,
e–books, and optical disks and games have become commonplace. Digital marketing extends to non-Internet channels that provide digital media, such as television,
mobile phones (SMS and MMS), callback, and on-hold mobile ring tones. The extension to non-Internet channels differentiates digital marketing from online marketing.
