IBM DB2® Intelligent Miner Visualization

IM Visualization provides the following Java™ visualizers to present data modeling results for analysis:

Associations Visualizer

Sequences Visualizer

Classification Visualizer

Clustering Visualizer

Regression Visualizer (only for IM Modeling models)

You can use the Intelligent Miner™ Visualizers to visualize PMML-conforming mining models. Applications can call these visualizers to present model results, or you can deploy the visualizers as applets in a Web browser for ready dissemination. The models might have been developed by using IM Modeling or other applications and tools that support interoperability through the use of PMML models, or models of the Intelligent Miner for Data might have been exported as PMML models. Models are stored as flat files, or you can directly visualize mining models from the database. The models in the database have been created by IM Modeling or they have been imported into the database using the import functions of IM Scoring.

 

The focus of the PMML standard is interoperability for scoring. The best results with IM Visualization can be achieved if the PMML models contain IM Visualization extensions such as distribution statistics or quality information as produced by IM Modeling. IM Visualization provides the following enhancements:

Sequences visualizer

Improved rule filtering of the visualizer to interactively work with Associations models or with Sequence Rules models

Improved capabilities of the Clustering visualizer to better support center-based clustering models
