Description

The Forex Cash Protector Expert Advisor works on the EURUSD currency pair and can be applied to both the 5 Minute and 1 Hour time frames (Other currency pairs and time frames have been tested with positive results). However the EURUSD is our recommended currency pair since it has given us the best results, so we therefore suggest you use the EA to trade this pair. If you desire to use the EA to try other pairs, please bear in mind that your results may vary.

Setup

Once you have downloaded the fxcp.zip file found on our download page you may follow the steps below to install your Expert Advisor:

Extract the files then follow the steps below to copy and paste the files in the appropriate folders.

Please note that your fxcp.zip contains four (4) files:

1. fxcp.ex4 – Forex Cash Protector Expert Advisor File

2. fxcp.dll

3. fxcp_default.set

4. fxcp.pdf– Forex Cash Protector Manual

The fxcp.ex4 file must be extracted from the zip and copy and pasted into your experts folder in your MetaTrader 4 folder. You may extract the file to your desktop by clicking on the file and then dragging it onto your desktop.

Now you will need to copy the file that you placed on your desktop to My Computer > Program Files > MetaTrader4 > experts. The precise name of the “MetaTrader4” folder may vary depending on the broker you use.

Once you have copied the fxcp.ex4 file to the experts folder you may proceed to copy the fxcp.dll file to the following location: My Computer > Program Files > MetaTrader4 > experts > libraries

You may now close your MetaTrader4 trading platform (if it was already open) and restart it.

Upon starting your MetraTrader4 platform click on the Navigator icon or press Ctrl + N to show the Navigator window. In the Navigator window, click on the Expert Advisors section, you should see a list of available expert advisors. In the list you should see “fxcp” listed among the other expert advisors that came with MetaTrader4.
